The Clerk is responsible for the maintenance of official city records, Secretary to the Mayor, City Council and City Boards and Commissions, Notary Public services, registration of voters, Chief of Elections, Peddler Permits, Passport Acceptance Agent, and FOIA Coordinator.
The City Clerk’s Office is committed to maintaining the integrity of city government in the City of Milan and ensuring an informed citizenry by providing access to City government through open and accessible meetings and accurate recording of the City Council proceedings; by protecting and preserving city documents and records; to conduct fair and democratic elections; and by providing excellent service to the public.
