As seniors in high school, Miller, Satarino and Neely produced a documentary film, Live and Let Drive for the C-SPAN Classroom’s StudentCam documentary contest. The entry took second-place honors in the high school central division winners in C-SPAN Classroom’s StudentCam documentary contest. C-SPAN Classroom’s StudentCam video documentary contest is an annual national competition in which middle and high school students produce a documentary on a specific theme. The 2017 theme was: “Your Message To Washington: What is most urgent issue for the new president and Congress to address in 2017?

Isaac Miller
Isaac Miller is currently attending Ball State with a plan to major in Telecommunications. He has made over 50 short films and loves the editing process. He uses his musical training to compose music that accompanies the videos in his work. Isaac has lived in Milan his entire life and loves the small town feel.

 

Stephen Satarino
Stephen graduated from Milan High School in 2017 salutatorian, and now attends The University of Michigan where he is pursuing a double major in Computer Science and English (as of the moment). While in high school, Stephen participated in sports and extra-curricular activities, including Varsity Soccer, Varsity Basketball, Language Club, and DECA. He was part of Milan High School’s State championship basketball campaign and a starter on the soccer team as they went on their deepest run into the state tourney.

Stephen worked on the C-SPAN StudentCam Documentary contest his senior year with Isaac Miller and Paden Neely, and subsequently found a passion in production. He has worked on two other large production projects since then, and hopes to stay involved in some way throughout the next four years.
